I was born on an outer rim world. I was shown to be force sensitive at the age of 5 but my parents ran off with me in fear of losing me to a life they did not want for me. They succeeded in running and hiding me from the Jedi. I grew up on Corellia, believing I, and my parents, were Corellians. I joined the Republic Army as an Infantry Man at 18. My being force sensitive made me an exceptional leader in combat situations. This lead to me becoming the youngest Master Gunnery Sargent ever, at only 21. A few years passed and I learned of some Jedi needing help on a remote planet, Abyssissa. After learning of Jedi needing help on Abyssissa, a planet in the Geonosis system. I got my squad together and we headed out to Abyssissa.

When we got to the planet we made radio contact with the two Jedi, a Master and Padawan. They told us where they were and we headed there double time. We got to the Jedi and successfully extracted them and got them off of the planet. When we returned them to Coruscant the Jedi Master insisted that I stand before the Jedi Council, for he felt the Force flowed strong in me. I did so, and it was proven that I was strong in the Force. I soon turned 25 after this. It was debated amongst the Jedi Council if I were to be trained or not. It was noted that I would be trained, and trained fully. I finished my training when I was 32. The Council decided that I was too old to become a Padawan, and instead became a Jedi Knight directly after finishing my training. My Trooper training and Jedi training made me one of the most feared Jedi in the Galaxy. After showing my competence as a Jedi, the squad of troopers I once led left the Republic Army and choose to follow me into battle, protecting me and any Jedi who would accompany me on my missions or vice versa.

I became a Jedi Master at the age of 41. I took my first apprentice at the age of 43. I trained her tirelessly and with the help of my squad she became a stronger Jedi then I could even dream of being. I was accepted on to the Jedi Council at the age of 55. I stayed their until my death at the age of 82.

History

Upbringing/Childhood

I don't know what planet I was born, but I do know that when my parents were confronted about handing me over to the Jedi for training they ran, faster then a youngling when they lose their training saber. The planet they fled to was Corellia. My siblings and I thought we were Corellians. And we were damn proud of it.

I had three siblings: 1 brother, 2 sisters. Kyle, Alexia, and Fiona. Alex and Fi were twins. Kyle was older then them, by a year. I was the oldest by almost 2 years, and took care of them while our parents were out trying to make a living. It might not of been the best upbringing, but it was ours. And like I said, we were damn proud of it.

There is one time in particular I remember, that stands out above all the rest. Alex, Fi and me were wondering through one of the underground clubs trying to find Kyle. I was 17, he was 16 and the girls were 15. Kyle had a reputation of being a hard ass on some of the local kids. One of their fathers didn't exactly like his kid being bullied, I think the kids name was Josue. He had Kyle picked up by his goons, and brought to the club to be ruffed up a little bit. Fortunately, we got there before that could start. When I broke up their little torture session, well, lets just say they weren't exactly happy. Two big guys(A Twi'lek, and a Human) rushed me and I took out the Human pretty quick, but the Twi'lek knew what he was doing. We fought for a moment then I managed to throw him aside and he hit his head on a table. I went in to take on Josue's dad and that was not an easy task by any stretch of the word. We fought for a few minutes, but I got the upper hand when I grabbed an old sword he had on the wall. Thankfully, he only had one sword on the wall. He tried to disarm me, and I stabbed him through the chest. He was the first person I ever killed.

I untied Kyle from the chair he was in, apparently when the fighting started Alex and Fi got behind some cover and hid, we got them and got the hell out of dodge. I made Kyle promise he would never bully anyone ever again. That was one of the few promises he ever kept to me. Soon after, I turned 18 and left for the Republic Army.

Republic Special Forces

I, at first, started out as a basic Infantryman when I joined, but after an attack on the base I was stationed at on Nal Hutta was attacked and I fended off an entire regiment of enemies with only basic equipment, I was transferred to a Special Forces unit, and promoted from Private to Staff Sergeant. My first assignment with my new unit went normal for the most part, Max, one of the other new guys, was killed during a fire fight. He was the first person I ever saw die.

The Hallitron-7 Incident

It was my second mission that garnered my highest honor to date, The Republic's Cross Of Glory. I'm not happy with how I earned this honor, I would trade it for anyone of those men to be alive today, but nonetheless I will take it. The mission was suppose to be a run of the mill, go out and eradicate a group of thugs from the face of the Galaxy and return home. Well..lets just say that mission didn't go as planned. When we arrived on Hallitron-7, the local government told us the thugs had left and weren't a problem anymore. We asked what happened and they refused to tell us, so we left. Or at least we tried. When we got to the spaceport our ship was destroyed, and the local government's army was waiting for us. In a group of 10, 4 died in the first attack. As we were either taking cover or running for the high hills. I was already pretty close to a doorway when the fighting broke out, and when it did I, well, kicked in the door to take cover. No one was in there, and I soon called for the others to join me in the house. When the majority of the local soldiers had been 'taken care of', we took off towards the local Governments main building, and when we got there we were surprised. There was no one there. Not a single soul, inside or out. We made our way to the communications room and contacted our superiors. They told us to stay put in that room. Our ranking Officer, Lt. Pickler organized a defense of the room, and the hall leading to it. We set up tables at the end of the hall and waited for contact. That never came. After a while we began to think that instead of contacting our superiors the locals had intercepted it and had figured out where we were and were mobilizing. Sgt. Perkins, our computer specialist, had sliced into their mainframe and had figured out where the government kept all of their ships. He downloaded the map to his wristband and we were off to the hanger. When we were nearing the hanger we noticed movement behind us. Lt. Pickler and I checked it out, it was a unit of the local Army, who had been following us since right after we left the communications room. We raised our weapons, and they dropped theirs. They told us they were being held hostage and being forced to fight for a government they didn't like, on a planet they had no other relation to. We were speculative at first, but came to the conclusion that they were telling the truth. They were scared shitless. One of the local Army boys had a key to the hanger and let us in. Once we were in though we saw the leaders of the local government, and those scared shitless boys turned into battle hardened military men. They shot both Lt. Pickler and Sgt. Perkins in the back of the head. The instant I heard a shot, I rolled forward. I turned around and laid down a pretty heavy wall of shots towards the locals. To my dismay, during my roll forward. My entire unit was killed. I wiped out every single person in that hanger. When I landed on Coruscant, a low-ranking Officer came up to me and asked what had happened. I told him I need to speak with the Brass, immediately. After filing my report, I was awarded with the Medal of Valor, and promoted to Master Sargent. I was told to pick my own team, I did. And those men still serve with me today during my travels as a Jedi.

Echo Squad

The men

I chose were SSG Josue Garcia, SFC Dave Jones, SGT Will Jenkins, and CPL Jason Burns. All of who have saved my skin several times. I trust these men with my life, and they trust me with theirs. I lead them into battle, and they bring me out of it. I love these men damn it, they are as close to brothers as one can get without actually being brothers.
Staff Sergeant J. Garcia

A young Hispanic human male. Garcia is a good man, trustworthy, and as deadly as they come. He was born and raised on Coruscant, to a retired special forces Sargent father and a respected Doctor mother. He joined the Army on his eighteenth birthday and left for Basic three months later, where he met SFC Jones. He is a expert in explosives, and I wouldn't trust anyone else to disarm an IED/bomb if my life depended on it. He saved a whole battalion of Soldiers on Belsavis when he detected a mine field and disarmed every single mine so that the battalion could move on. He was transferred to a special forces unit afterwards, about five months later we met up.

Sergeant First Class D. Jones

A young Caucasian human male. Jones is a joker, but reliable and one of the two best snipers I know. He was born on Corellia, but raised on Coruscant. He joined the Army on his eighteenth birthday and left for basic two months later, were he met SSG Garcia, and enlisted as a machine gunner infantryman at first. It wasn't until he was two years into his career that he found his love for sniping, after he beat all of the instructors at the sniper school they moved him to top priority special forces. Thats when we met up.

Sergeant W. Jenkins

A young Black human male. Jenkins is a serious, yet laid back person. I only trust The Little Bull to his hands, and if that doesn't say enough about his mechanical skills then I don't know what will. He was born and raised on Tatooine until his eighteenth birthday, when he moved to Coruscant to pursue a higher education. He joined the Army after he finished his Masters of Mechanics Degree from the University of Coruscant. After getting into a scrape with some bandits on Belsavis, and showing his combat effectiveness, he was moved into a special forces unit until I picked him up to be in Echo Squad.

Corporal J. Burns

A young Caucasian human male. Burns is the runt of Echo Squad, the youngest and the smallest, but he is our little guy and we take care of him. Don't get me wrong though, he can by all means take care of himself. He is a heavy weapons expert after all. He was born and raised on Dantooine, where his father was a farmer and his mother a merchant in the spaceport. He left with his sister to Coruscant, where she studied psychology at the University of Coruscant, and he worked as a busboy at a restaurant until he turned eighteen and enlisted in the Army. His fascination with heavy weapons and how they work, not to even mention his skill with them, got him moved to a special forces unit. That is, until I picked up up for Echo Squad.

A Brother's Death

I was 23. Two years before I came to the Jedi. Kyle was serving as a Pilot for the Royal family of Vaynai, which is located in the Outer Rim. I was going to go visit him, and our two sisters who had moved to Vaynai with him. He was providing star ship protection to the Queen's convoy as she was coming back to her homeworld. A Bounty had been placed on her for reasons that remain a mystery to me, and a group of fairly talented Bounty Hunters, accompanied by Sith Pilots, attacked Kyle's group of fighters the second they came out of hyperspace. Kyle avoided the first wave of fire, but was taken down moments later by a Sith Pilot who had swung around to the backside of the convoy. I came out of hyperspace just after the fighting had stopped, and witnessed the Sith pilots flying away. I saw Kyle's ship floating there, drifting into nothingness. I had my pilot pull us up close, and I put on a spacesuit. I went to his ship, collected his body and some of his personal things. When I landed on Vaynai, my sisters were waiting for me. I told them Kyle was dead but they didn't believe me. I showed them his body, it was barely identifiable. Fiona broke out in tears the second she saw him from a distance. Alex was in shock for the most part. I did my best to comfort them, but we had to get him home to Corellia for a proper funeral, and so our parents could say good bye to their son. None of his attackers died that day above Vaynai, but I took a vow to Kyle that I would hunt them down and avenge his death. Kyle was a good man, sure he had his flaws but he was my brother damn it. And I love him.

The Rescue Mission

Myself, my squad and many of my friends have come to know this simply as "The Rescue Mission"

We were returning to Coruscant after a regular mission, and as we were passing through the Geonosis System we received a transmission from a Jedi Master and his Padawan. They were stuck on the icy rock known as Abyssissa. We landed as close as we could to the coordinates that they gave us. The weather on that planet is comparable to an icy hell. We made our way as close as we could to the Jedi before we started killing of Geonosians. As we got closer and closer to where the Jedi had told us where they were, they never showed up on our life scanners. When we approached the building they were supposedly in, one of my men was force pushed about 50 feet when we saw a tall, dark figure standing in the door way. It was the Jedi Master, but he didn't know that we were friendlies and he began to attack us. As he was charging us I yelled the call sign we had set up in order to distinguish ourselves. Our was "Echo", as it was our squad designation. And theirs was "Ashla", that ancient name for the Light Side of the Force. I scream Ashla as he rushed us and he stopped dead in his tracks, just moments from slicing Jenkins in two. He shut off his lightsaber and apologized for his brash reaction to seeing. He then rushed over to help Jones, who was the one he had force pushed, who ended up ok for the most part. We went inside the little command center they had set up and told us what had happened. He said "We were sent here to deal with a group of Geonosian rebels who thought they could over throw the Republic. When we landed, they nearly killed us on the spot. Instead they took us as prisoners, to be bargaining chips in their dealings with the Republic. Fortunately, for us they forgot to take our lightsabers and didn't use any force restraining devices on us." To which I replied "Well thats a little stupid of them." The Jedi Master nodded and continued with his story "Yes, well we broke out of our physical restraints and killed our captors. The only thing is before we killed them, they sent a message to their leader who is on his way right now. Thats who I thought you were. We've been waiting for someone to come rescue us for days now, and we haven't had any food since before they blew up our ship when we landed". I looked around at my men and his Padawan and said "Well Sir, I think we can help you. We were heading home from a mission, and thankfully we didn't use that much supplies so we have plenty of food and water for you both back on our ship". The Jedi Master and his Padawan both had a look of relief on their faces. Minutes later we moved out back to the ship. When we had gotten to the ship we saw the rest of the crew in an intense firefight with a small group of Geonosians. Jones, the squad's resident Sniper, set up on a nearby hill and took them all out relatively quick. We approached our ship and saw that none of the men had been hurt during the fight. We left a few minutes later, and were in hyperspace within 20 minutes.

When we landed on Coruscant the Jedi Master thanked me and then asked me if he could speak to me privately. I nodded and we walked of to the side and he said "Son, you know you are a force Sensitive right? You should of been picked up as a child and trained as a Jedi. I beg you, please stand before the Jedi Council to see exactly how strong you are in the Force. I know you are are strong in the Force, I just can't put my finger on how strong you really are." I thought it over for a minute, and decided that I would stand before the Jedi Council to see how strong I am in the Force, or if I even was a Force Sensitive. I told my squad that I was going with the Jedi Master to fill his report on their mission, and we headed to the Jedi Council Chambers. We arrived during the middle of a Council meeting, when we entered the chambers a Council Master asked the Jedi Master who I was and he told them "This is the man who saved the life of myself, and my Padawan. He is strong in the Force, he should be trained" The Council Master conferred that he could feel me presence in the Force to be a strong one, and the rest of the Council followed suit. They gave me a simple test to see if I could tell what was on a device's screen one of the Masters was holding. Apparently, I passed with flying colors and the Council was divided on whether I should be trained as a Jedi or not. They debated for several days, and finally called me back into the Council Chambers to hear their verdict. They had convened that I should be trained in the Jedi ways and arts. But not without consequence, I was told if I choose to take the path of a Jedi I would have to leave the life I had known as a Republic Soldier behind, along with my squad of Commandos. I decided that I could do more good in the Galaxy, and ultimately find who put that bounty on the Queen on Vaynai, and who was responsible for the death of Kyle. I told the Council this and they told me that I had to deliver the news to my Superiors and my Squad on my own. This wasn't what I wanted to do, but I had to. When I told them I was going to be leaving the Army for the Jedi, and that I was going to be trained. They, at first, were shocked that I was really Force Sensitive. Jenkins came forward saying that he would leave the Army to be my personal Pilot, and would accompany me and any Jedi who traveled with me on planet surfaces. The rest of the Squad soon followed suit, I was touched by their loyalty to me, it meant and still does mean a lot to me, more then most will ever know. We left for the Army Headquarters, and delivered our "Retirement" papers to the General of The Army in person. He was disappointed that he was losing such a well known and talented group of Soldiers, but he was happy that I was joining the Jedi and that they chose to serve. You'd think he would of been pissed that he was losing his best Special Forces Squad, but hey to each his own. We left for the Jedi Temple after officially filing our retirement papers and handing over our military issued weapons

And with that, my life as a Jedi had begun.

A New Jedi

I was anything but a regular Jedi Padawan. I was older then most Knights, and even a few Masters. For a while it was weird, and didn't feel right. I felt like I had abandoned the Army, I mean I was one of their most prized soldiers and then I become a Jedi? It didn't feel right, but over time I started to feel better.

The Learning Stages

It didn't take me long to acclimate myself to the Jedi way of living, mostly. Some of the philosophies didn't make sense to me at the time. I was paired with a Knight who had just passed the trials. His name was Owen Sato and he was suppose to teach me the Ways of the Jedi. He wasn't much of a duelist, and in our first sparring match I broke one of his arms, I guess I went to far. He was a skinny guy, and only a couple months younger me. He was taller then I was, which was to be admired in Zabraks. Like I said, he didn't know much about dueling, or any combat for that matter. I'm not quite sure how he passed the Trials. He was my "Master" for 3 months, then he left the Order. I wasn't sure why for a long time. At first I thought maybe he felt betrayed by the Council when his homeworld was attacked and they did nothing. However, it proved much different later on in life.

A Master of Lightsaber Combat

I became the quickest Jedi (Padawan, Knight or Master) to ever Master a style other then Shii Cho. I mastered Makashi just seven months into my formal training. Three months later I had mastered Juyo, a Lightsaber form said to take the user through the penumbra of the Dark Side.

Rai'On: A Custom Fighting Style

After I mastered Juyo, Makashi, and became at least proficient in the use of Jar'Kai, I created Rai'On. I felt the need to have a style that no one had seen before, and that no one had ever encountered before that fought me. Rai'On is a hybrid form, encompassing moves from Juyo, Makashi and, when I duel wield, Jar'Kai. It also combines moves, for example: It will take a Juyo move, and make it much faster or elegant. Or it will take a Makashi move and make it much more aggressive, or strong. At this point in time, only two people have faced Rai' On, while one was a friendly duel, the other was a deadly duel in which I executed my foe.

I got The Little Bull from my brother as a gift for my twenty-second birthday. He had bought the ships last version, and with the ship I owned at the time in near disrepair he decided to use the big check he had just got from an investment payoff to buy the ship for me. He named his ship The Big Bull and mine The Little Bull, a play on how I was his bigger brother. I didn't mind it then, and I don't mind it now. This ship serves as a reminder for me, of my brother. Of the person he was, and who he was becoming.

The Indigo Scimitar, named for it's Indigo colored blade.

I created The Indigo Scimitar after my first hand made Saber was damaged beyond repair. I had found the Electrum I used for the construction of The Scimitar during a mission while I was still a Republic Special Forces Commando. The mission took me back home, almost. A Hutt had recently set up base on Corellia's moon, Gus Talon and had started sending his thugs and bounty hunters to Corellia to do his dirty work. It wasn't the Army's problem until he intercepted a weapons shipment with prototype weapons on board. Thats when we got called in. For the most part the mission was normal, land on planet/moon, approach enemies base, infiltrate enemies base, take the stolen weapons and try not to kill everyone inside. Keyword; try. We approached, infiltrated and seized the stolen weapons with relative ease. Only killing a few of the Hutt's thugs on the way in, and none on the way out. The Hutt was ready for us though, he had one of his men rig a speeder bike with explosives, set to detonate when we tried to sneak by. The explosion went off and all hell broke loose. We were fighting for our lives, outnumbered 3:1, but with superior firepower and armor it was more like 2:1 in our favor. We cut our way though the Hutt's mercenary's and found ourself in the middle of a Hutt Crime Syndicate meeting. The Hutts, naturally not being very mobile creatures, surrendered once they realized we had either killed or captured all of their men. We contacted Command and they sent a transport ship, but while we were waiting for the transport to get to us I found something. That something was the Electrum I used to create The Indigo Scimitar's hilt.

I found this Lightsaber while I was on a mission when I was still serving as a Special Forces Soldier. We were on Eiattu 6 in the Mid Rim. Some locals had been slightly trained in the Ways of The Force by a group of Jedi long dead now. My unit was sent there to deal with a fairly large group of local thugs, who had recently stepped up their game to kidnapping. Kidnapping the Prince of the local Royal Family. Like I said, some locals were slightly trained in the Ways of The Force, and had made some low quality lightsabers. But those thugs did have one lightsaber in the possession of their leader that was said to have special properties. We had infiltrated their compound and fought our way to their Leader's control room. He attacked me using the Lightsaber I talked about, but before he could take a successful swing at me I put one in between his eyes. I picked up the Lightsaber and ignited it, a silvery-green blade came out. One of my men said it was Viridian. I never saw it again until after I joined the Order 3 years later, I kept it in a lock box on my ship, The Little Bull. That's when I named it The Viridian Storm.

I created The Raging Bull from salvaged parts of my brother's destroyed star fighter. It serves as a token of remembrance of Kyle, and the vow I took to him as I held his dead body in my arms. The vow that I will find the one responsible for his death and destroy everything they are and know.

Personal Robes

I was given these robes when I joined the Order. Albeit, they aren't the same as they were when I got them. I've made some changes to them and made them better for combat. Over the years the armor components have been stripped away, really all they are now are custom robes.

Cortosis Bracers

Like the majority of my equipment, I acquired these Cortosis Bracers during my time as a Republic Special Forces Soldier. We were on a mission in Hutt Space, we were sent there to eradicate a local group of thugs run by a Hutt that was, well lets just say he wasn't liked by Hutt Crime lords nor was he well liked by the Republic. We boarded their ship and proceeded to fight through the vessel until we came upon the bridge. His personal bodyguards were equipped with nearly full cortosis body armor. We fought them off, mostly in hand-to-hand combat. Then the Hutt tried to kill us all by detonating a thermal detonator, we survived. And I took the Cortosis Bracers off of one of his men. I still wear these on a daily basis.
