The Infinium Conflict

At some point this page will contain a summary of the Infinium Conflict and a list of all threads involved with a timeline. In the meantime, this is a WIP and will likely take me a long long time, so bear with me.

Short Summary

The Infinium Conflict was an event centered around events related to the plans of Zelkin Infinium involving a multitude of characters and concluding in a sizable space battle in the Unknown Regions.

Important Locales and Things

Void Prisms-Crystals found on Korriban which were capable of temporarily consuming the Force.

Black Seraph-Zelkin's personal gunship.

Fate Shatter

Void Engine-The heart of the Fate Shatter, this device allowed the ship to gather and store the Force before it was released through the Void Cannon.
Force Master System-The system consisted of a platform on the bridge with holographic views of the battle field. A Force user had to fasten contraptions to their hands and head to be able to use the system. While active, it drew from the Force user's own energy amplified by the void engine to extend and amplify the Force beyond the Fate Shatter across the battle field and to produce a shield around the Fate Shatter itself. While powerful, the abilites which could be used through it were limited and it rapidly drained its operator.
Void Cannon-A large cannon which could be extended when the Shatter's 'nose' opened. It was controlled by the Force user plugged into the Force Master System and triggered with a certain motion. When activated it unleashed a devastating beam of pure Force energy which could rip through ship hull and left Force users nearby without the Force temporarily. After it was used, it took time to recharge before it could be fired again. Not firing the cannon resulted in a buildup of stored Force energy which held huge potential risks.

Centurion-A space station on the fringes of the unknown region.

Necropolis (AoD)-A bizarre planet in the unknown regions which appeared to be made out of living flesh and ate the Force. Agents would go out and recruit people hoping to make a quick buck as body guards, ship them off to the planet where they would be processed and incorporated into the planet itself in one of the numerous organic processing plants along the planet's surface. Marik, Vix, Jed, and Saito were unfortunate enough to wind up on AoD where with the aide of a small mole like man who'd been stuck on the planet for ages and several vials provided by the mysteroius M they were able to infect the planet causing it to overload and subsequently explode.

Necrowound-The remains of AoD consisting of a field of asteroid like chunks of a dead fleshy like substance. The death of the Force eating planet left a place where they were a wound in the Force making the spot ideal for using the Fate Shatter and the Void Engine to cause the most damage to the Force itself.

Crysalis-Zelkin's outpost on Korriban, many of his allies stayed here between missions and acted as the base of operations until the Fate Shatter was completed. It was eventually attacked by Janelle, some of the Stormhawk crew and others who were trying to steal the plans for the Fate Shatter. The resulting battle ended with Aggadesh draining the Force from the place and Zelkin returning and killing the Stormhawk Boss. After that even the Outpost was abandoned.

Yinran Corporation- A large private corporation which has its hands in about everything and possesses its own fleet. The corporation supported Zelkin although it is unsure of just how willing they originally were to take that sort of gamble. After Kirali killed the CEO in a 'test', Shades was appointed by Zelkin to replace the old one.

Janelle Fatir (formerly Lady Furia)-Twin sister of Zelkin Infinium deteremined to stop him. Formerly a Sith, she turned to the Jedi after a confrontation with a pair of Jedi on whatever that planet was leaving her brother feeling betrayed.

Setsuna Andal (Setie)-A young redheaded woman who knew Janelle and Marik since they were children. Setie falls in love with Marik which only further complicates matters once she realizes the full scope of what he intends to do and decides to take action.Saito Eastwind

Vix-Psychotic Rutian Twi'lek assassin who likes to stab things with knives. She originally bumped into Zelkin while he was under the guise of a common mercenary and using the name of Marik on Coruscant. That led to a serious of rather insane events on a planet called AoD which consumes people and a subsequent escape to the station of Centurion where Zelkin revealed his true colors and attempted to kill them all even though he could likely thank her specifically for saving his rear multiple times. Let's just say she never really forgave him for that.

Aiden (Jed)-He began as a young Force sensitive kid and apsiring gunslinger who was swept away with Vix, Marik, and Saito leading to him enduring the living hell that was AoD and later Centurion. After the ordeal, he left on a personal journey and returned for the final conflict with new allies and training under his belt.

Jade- Aiden's assassin uncle who is a member of a group called The Brotherhood.

Viala Sunrunner-A weapons designer who formerly served the Empire and is now a part of the Stormhawk crew. She modified the plans for the Fate Shatter after being pressured by Shadow which allowed the craft to recieve the power it needed to function.

Sia Sinblade

Defan-A Republic spy who formerly served in Zelkin's armada. He had valuable information which could have helped bring down Zelkin which led to a chase on Nar Shaddaa where Shades was able to destroy the data and attempted to kill him before escaping. He clearly had a crush on Karina.

Karina Shades-A Kiffar Jedi Padawan and Shades' sister. After being informed of her sister's recent behavior by Vix and Defan, she agreed to help capture Shades and later accompanied Janelle on the Fatir Hope for the final battle.

The Traveler-A traveler who wandered and allowed the Force to guide him where he was needed who aiding in stopping Zelkin. During the conflict he was unfortunately placed on the Vengeance fleet controlled by a rather insane Twi'lek. Through a series of unfortunate or fortunate events depending on your point of view, he was able to board the Fate Shatter where he confronted Kirali directly.

Darth Drador-A technopathic Sith who served under Lord Vorax and allied himself with Zelkin. Having been stationed on Coruscant for what seemed like ages, he was more than eager to leave when Shadow informed him that Zelkin wanted his alliegence and offered him a void prism. Given his own fleet, he commanded it in the final battle before moving to the Fate Shatter under Kirali's request where he could have greater control of the remaining ships in the Infinium Armada.

Van Fanle-A former Sith turned Jedi turned wander. It was his mission into Sith space on the Shade Bender to free captured Jedi which allowed Kirali to originally escape the Sith. Having lost all that he'd really cared about in the galaxy after a series of unfortunate events, he turned to drugs to dull the pain. When he heard that Zelkin intended to kill the Force, he was eager to help. He just had no idea that he would run into Kirali again in the process.

Suri-Crazy Force sensitive girl who the Fireheart crew found in a box. She was experimented on and is apparently well trained with lightsabers but isn't nearly as adept with the Force.

Zarate- Very eccentric masked man who joined the Fireheart for the final battle and really likes to eat.

Commander Jayne- Commander of the Hope fleet stationed aboard the Fatir Hope and friend of Janelle's.

Zelkin Infinium (Marik Fatir)-Twin brother of Janelle Fatir set on destroying the Force.

Kirali (Prava)-A Lethan Twi'lek rogue Sith who became Zelkin's apprentice. She serves as Zelkin's second in command and operator of the Force Master system. As much as Setie serves as the embodiment of what Marik wants from life, Kirali is Zelkin's.

Shadow-Zelkin's highly modified HK unit.

Having been stationed on Coruscant for what seemed like ages, he was more than eager to leave when Shadow informed him that Zelkin wanted his alliegence and offered him a void prism. Given his own fleet, he commanded it in the final battle before moving to the Fate Shatter under Kirali's request where he could have greater control of the remaining ships in the Infinium Armada.

Reelo Miltulko-Enigmatic rodian doctor and scientist responsible for the Cindrol'nomt Initiative. He utilized his elite CI operatives and his Templar operatives to defend both Reelo's flagship the Occultro and the Centurion station.

Kha Dek- Kel Dor Sith commando who supported Zelkin's cause along with his squad.

The mysterous Arkanian- Served as a stratagist aboard the Fate Shatter.

Admiral Reric Leon- Sith Admiral with an ego who supported Zelkin.

Cries Madgnuss- Mysterious old Force user who sought to finally end the war between the Jedi and Sith by aiding Zelkin.

The Infinium Conflict

A note on reading Fleet threads: Fleet threads were intended to act as fleets. Everyone in the fleet would post actions directed towards one fleet, the the opposing fleet in the other respective thread would post a response. This was done to make it easier for the role players involved to keep track of relevant posts instead of having to sort through a massive thread where dozens of people were all posting. As time went on this practice was largely dropped and condensed into the most used fleet threads before moving to the Battle of Necrowound and Endgame.
