Lord Qaran is an elderly Selkath.
Distinctive Marks:
Lord Qaran has a burn wound on the back of his right hand that does not affect his skills.
Class/Skills/Attributes:
To the Empire, Qaran is regarded as a Sith Inquisitor, though to his guild, he is a Sith Assassin. He prefers the Force to saber combat, and is very proficient in the art of telekinesis.
Equipment/Apparel:
At a glance, it would seem Qaran wields only black robes and a walking cane made of wood from Kashyyk. However, his cane is hollowed out, containing his lightsaber in the top.
Starship(s):
Qaran seldom leaves Korriban, and as such has little need of a ship of his own.

Qaran is a patient, yet passionate warrior of the Dark Side, with an unbending will.
Relationships:
Darth Vicente is his prized pupil, and despite his advancement to the guild's High Lord, he still turns to Qaran for guidance when it is needed most.
Beliefs:
Qaran believes that one must always be guided by their feelings, trusting on their own instincts and intuition rather than moral dogmas of the group in power. Also, Qaran believes that only strong are worthy of surviving.

Back story:
Qaran was once a child who had moved with his family from Manaan to Aldaaran. One day, a pair of Jedi Knights were pursuing a bounty hunter. Qaran's parents were eating at home when a Jedi carelessly deflected blaster bolts into his home, killing them. It was then that Qaran discovered his Force sensitivity, and so great was his anger that he managed to kill both Jedi with telekinetic attacks. The bounty hunter, both fearing and pitying the child, decided to take him to his clients, who he explained were "just like" him. It was to The Aeons of Korriban that Qaran was taken. There, Qaran was taught the arts of the Sith and the Force, and he trained and studied for years across the galaxy until one day, he took on the role of teaching all of the guild's Sith Assassins.
