Appearance:

Garth Sabel appears to be a very friendly man. He does carefully hide his heavier emotions and feelings from his friends and foes though. While only 20 years of age his deep blue eyes show much knowledge and wisdom. While he isnt completely musculant he has a very tall and lean figure. He has a good amount of thick light brown hair slicked back and the beginning of a beard starting under his mouth. When seen around he stands very proud and tall but doesnt like to make himself noticed. He is usually dressed in a dark green robe complete with a cloak, its hood almost always over his head. He has sharp facial features, keen eyes, small nose and a narrow jaw line.

Distinctive Marks:

Due to a brawl he was involved with when he was 13 he has a very distinctive slash scar across his chest.

Garth is usually just in his dark green robes/tunic and cloak, his lightsaber carefully concealed beneath his robes.

Personality:

Garth is a Jedi that is fiercely loyal to the order, its members and masters. He is easy going, a pleasure to talk with and is social. He carries a extreme amount of knowledge for he loves to read about history and lore however his heart is broken in two between being a Consular and a Guardian for he practices his combat skills daily but also enjoys teaching and learning the ways of the force. He has a very relaxed attitude and way with words which lead him to be used as a negotiator in times before. When it comes to business about the order like missions he does get very serious and stern due to the possible threat of danger.

Garth is very loyal to the Jedi Order itself and its members. Peoples tend to think of him more as a Grey Jedi because of his beliefs on the force. He is respected by some yet reguarded maverick by many, even sometimes considered unorthodox. Garth reflects strength and wisdom however seen as a slight difficulty to the Jedi Council due to his nonharmful rebellious nature at times.

He has a great compassion for all living things and will go out of his way to protect them when needed. He believes every lifeform plays a important role in the galaxy and they must be kept safe.

Goals and Ambitions:

Ever since he was a even younger lad he always wanted to sit on the council and help govern the Jedi Order. However as the years passed this wish began to fade due to his developing, small defiences to the Jedi Code. All he wishes to do now is obtain knighthood to set out on more missions to do the will of the order. Sabel wishes to train at least one padawan to carry on his teachings of the force, yet train him to become a revered member of the order unlike himself.

History:

Early Life:

Garth Sabel was born in a well off family on Corellia where he spent a few of his first years happily with his brothers and sisters. Things began to fall apart when his father died in mugging and his mother succumbed to her grief by leaving her own children and running away. Garth, including his several brothers and sisters were adopted into different households by the time he was 10. Still shaken by all that had happened he grew comfortable with his new family and started over.

After a few years in school Garth's raw connection to the force began to appear in mysterious ways like moving objects around in school or blowing a eerie wind across the classroom. It began to frighten him, he didnt know what the force was yet let alone a Jedi. However his fosterparents did, and knew it was right to give him to the Jedi Order on Tython to train. Garth was shocked he had to leave a family he grew to love again and fell into a depression when he was taken to the order.

At the age of 12 he was still engaged in training due to his late entry in the Praxeum. His depression still lingered and held him back from his full potential most days which worried the masters overlooking him. A connection was arranged for him to see his family from time to time again in a hope of restoring some of Garth's morale. To much of the master's joy it had worked and Sabel began to train at full potential. HE developed a love for books and history and studied many hours of the day while on opposite days would harshly train his combat skills with a training lightsaber. He was looked upon as a future lightsaber duelist due to his
