History

Darth Scythe

The story begins in the ancient days before the Mandalorian Wars and the Jedi Civil War which followed it. There was a Jedi Weapons Master named Crath Sindu. He was a Zabrak warrior to the bone. During the Mandalorian Wars, he had fought in many battles. During one, he, and many other soldiers and innocent people, was taken by the enemy, and much stress and insanity and time being kept as a prisoner of war caused him to turn to the Dark Side. His captors, the Mandalorians, took him and, whilst trying to frantically escape the world they were on, were trying to get rid of all prisoners of war. Crath's upper body was now dunked into a vat of molten hot liquid. He came out, and with his last breath, he broke free and slaughtered all Mandalorians and prisoners of war in the base. He cut down any Republic soldier or Jedi that got near him, stealing a lightsaber from one of his former comrades. He escaped, the insanity and darkness following. His body was left horridly scarred. His entire upper-body was now burnt almost to a crisp, his face was mostly disfigured, and cuts and bruises covered him, and all of his horns that defined him as a Zabrak had melted off. He had even lost a foot while escaping (which he had replaced by ripping off a mandalorian's foot and having a medical droid stitch it on when he got onto a stolen Republic medical frigate. He hid for many years.

Civil War!

Now the Jedi Civil War was upon the galaxy. Crath revealed himself, and joined Darth Revan. He now wielded a red lightsaber. He fought and killed many Jedi, and eventually began to enjoy killing his former comrades. Revan gave him new life support, so that he would live a long and dark life. It was always made so he was at the front, to inspire nothing but cold fear into the hearts of their opponents. He was a sick-minded and insane individual. Revan personally had him tortured daily, and showed him all his nightmares at once. He was given the name Darth Scythe, and was relentless.

The Jedi council learned of this, after finally hearing of their weapons master after so so long, and had sent the female Human Jedi Coril Tin and her apprentice Galen O'kann to destroy him. They met on a asteroid station, from which the Sith was building an army of mercenaries, assassins, droids and bounty hunters to take out a Republic fleet. The two of them decided to split up, as they would cover more ground faster and would be harder to catch or spot.

Galen and Scythe were first to meet, and engaged in a rather short lightsaber duel before Scythe chopped off both Galen's arms and disembowled him (using a large piece of shrapnel rather than his lightsaber. Coril stumbled upon the murder. The two dueled but in the end, Coril was defeated. Darth Scythe told her she was cursed forever. With a laugh, he sent her in an escape pod, and sent her into the depths of space.

The Sith Warrior left with his army aboard his flagship, and went into the Unknown Regions, and met up with the ancient Sith Empire, of which he was taken into. He took his own world, and forced all in his army to do battle until only five were left. The remaining five, he took into custody. He brainwashed them (so that they forgot everything of their past, whether they were mercenaries, bounty-hunters, assassins, etc), trained them, chopped them up to replace the majority of their body parts with cybernetics to "make them better". He gave them many stimulants, and genetically engineered them to make them somewhat larger, muscular, and faster. He then trained the five subjects in the use of force-scythes. Now, he dressed them in glossy-black armor. He called themselves the "Six Sith Scythes".

Meanwhile, Coril had discovered she was pregnant, and was wrongfully accused. She was banished from the Jedi Order. This child, Denn Tin, was a human baby. This was the curse. She lived out her days on Corellia, where her new family would remain for centuries.

Denn Tin would be the ancestor of Trill Sinthia and much later, Icad Cosi.

300 years later...

Later, he returned when the Sith Empire went to war against the Republic. Here is where he had his first death, against the hands of the young padawan Seth Cosi. He died, and his army of soldiers were all killed.

The Darth Siris conflict

Scythe was cloned by a Sith Master named Tokan. Tokan took him under his wing, aiding the Sith apprentice into learning more. He tamed Scythe, and calmed him down, making him less a monster, and taught him etiquette that he had lost many years ago to insanity. A year after the treaty, he would be assigned to Rori, and was given to Darth Siris as an apprentice. He went on many missions, leading the attack on Kasshyyk which failed and had cost him his right eye, and they continued his training on Lok, where he was given special armor to hide his hideous appearance and heal his devastated form, and then continued training there for a short time before the Republic Order could crash the base.

Eventually, he grew tired of these masters. After members of the Republic Order broke in to steal the plans for the new Star Forge and slayed Tokan, several weeks after the event, back on Rori, Darth Scythe slaughtered Darth Siris, putting an end to the ordeal. He took Siris's ship and three of the best men he could find in the camp, and left the planet, flying past the Republic blockade of the world, and escaping. When Republic forces landed and took out all opposing forces, they found nothing but Darth Siris's decapitated corpse, and none of the plans for the Star Forge, meaning Scythe had stolen them.

Corellia

Darth Scythe and his three men traveled to Corellia five years after the Siris conflict, to rescue some Sith warriors held in a CorSec prison facility outside of Coronet. They had landed their ship on a small island and deployed a small boat to sneak them to the Golden Beaches of Coronet, where Scythe, and his two sith marauders went to the prison, while the one soldier went to detonate bombs and raise hell in the city.

It was not soon after when he met up with jedi Seth Cosi and Toorop Xortan. The two killed off one of his other scythes, leaving him with one apprentice. He slaughtered his way into the prison facility, and killed the sith master within for a holocron he had possessed. Later, he had contacted the Sith fleet to move in and conquer the system from CorSec hands. Seth and Toorop went to the local Jedi Cloister, a clump of small Jedi buildings going into one of the planets mountain ranges, for help. The defenses of Corellia had to be mustered.

The planet had eventually fallen to Darth Scythe's military might he had summoned from space. Sith now controlled the planet, and executed all Jedi of the Cloister, save for Seth, Toorop, and one other. He summoned a Bounty Hunter named Luy Gruff to assist him in hunting down any stranglers.

Before the two Jedi were in the grasp of the steel Sith paws, the Republic fleet had returned, and with Jedi aid. Seth and Toorop used the sewers to get into the city, while Scythe and Luy commanded the battle. It would not be before long that Seth and Toorop intervened, engaging in a fierce duel in the highest tower of the capitol building. Scythe summoned a great lightning storm that devastated the chamber and ripped the ceiling free. Toorop was knocked off the tower, and Seth's old lightsaber had been destroyed. He used the Emerald Sword of the Founders to slash across Scythe's armored chest, but before he could finish, was knocked out cold by lightning. The bounty hunter and Scythe escaped to the space station before an EMP the Jedi had set up disabled the entirety of Sith forces in the system. Scythe proceeded to plan the next few days, and came to a conclusion that Shun was unworthy, and thus, he heavily injured him.

Rebirth

Weeks later, Scythe planned to take a ship, a Sith Destroyer, orbiting Coruscant named the Manowar. Just before they could 'negotiate' (AKA kill) with the ship's admiral after boarding, Shun stepped in and fought his master. Shun accused Scythe of being insane and unworthy of the Darth title. The two of them battled in the bridge for some time, were blasted out into space, and fought along the hull of the ship, then formed a bubble of force energy around themselves as the two of them plummeted down to Coruscants surface, crashing in the Jedi Temples counsel chambers. Shun killed Scythe here and took his armor and name, then he returned to the ship, where they brought it back to the space station. During the battle, Darth Scythe's signature weapon, his lightsaber-scythe, was destroyed. And now, Shun, now the new Darth Scythe, hired Luy Gruff to become his number-one bodyguard and his new apprentice.

The power

Scythe had been reborn as a spirit, living in Shun's thoughts. He forced Shun to travel to Baroonda to gather a tribe of warriors, the Doomseekers, but when they arrived they had discovered the Jedi had destroyed it with a volcano. They seeked out the Jedi, and took one, Seth Cosi, and brought him back to Scythe's castle upon Scythe's conquered world far away in the Unknown Regions. They tortured him for months before he broke and joined them. For three years he had been sent off to do work for the two Sith.

On the third year, Scythe had completed his tomb on Raxus Prime, and removed himself from Shun's body, and his spirit moved to a Force Crystal shard, which Shun implanted into a droid custom-built for the crystal. He adorned the droid in Scythe's armor, and then lay the Sith master away in his tomb, and headed out to fight Republic escapees from the nearby Sith prison facility.
