Choron Noofan was an Ithorian male who became a Jedi Master and a member of the Ithorian Elders in his later years. He was a member of the Jedi Order during the events of the Great Galactic War and the Cold War that followed. He was trained as padawan learner of the Kel Dor Jedi Master Sul Tade.

Biography
Early Life
Choron Noofan was born on one of the floating, herdship cities above the surface of Ithor on 3,721 BBY. His father was the leader of his herd and his mother a renowned botanist. Choron lived the life of most young Ithorians, studying the belief of the protection and sustainment of their environment, the Law of Life which was designed to protect the Mother Jungle. As a child, Noofan spent most every day in the Dome of the Mother Jungle on the herdship. Inside the dome was a transplanted piece of the Ithorian's sacred jungle, presided over by the dutiful Ithorians who traveled aboard the herdship. Choron studied the various flora and fauna present in the dome and took countless notes on his datapad. His time studying these organisms gave him not only a vast knowledge and respect of them, but spiritual connection to the environment and the beings that inhabited it.
