Cassius Cosi was a Zabrak Jedi Apprentice and soldier. Born during the final decade of the Great Galactic War to the Jedi Knight Seth Cosi and Trill Sinthia, he was rescued as an infant and taken to Tython for Jedi Training, where he was eventually taken on as a padawan learner by Hilderic Reuven, a close friend of his late father.

Cassius is armed with the Emerald sword of the Founders, which once belonged to the Jedi Master who formed the Jedi Cloister on Corellia, and it was taken by his father, Seth. When it was built, the weapon was a shining chrome color, but after the battle of Corellia, it was turned black after being hit with lightning from the evil Sith known as Darth Scythe. It was given to him by his master, Hilderic, after he had found it in the debris field where Seth had been killed.

At the beginning of his apprenticeship to Reuven, Cosi was brash, quick to anger and like his master, passive.. Though Reuven was always quick to remind Cosi to control his anger, others usually complained that Cosi was too reckless, flippant and sometimes impatient. During the later years of his training, Cosi was able to control his emotions, being able to handle the deaths of others, but still had resentment for the death of his father, for whom Cosi wanted the truth for. Master Reuven also noted that Cosi could be stubborn at times, a trait he shared with his late father.
Cassius was clumsier than most of his fellow jedi and often held a certain irreverence for his superiors, but he would still try to obey their orders. Being known as one to carry grudges and was vengeful, nevertheless, he was socially active, trying to communicate with sentients around him, and attuned to making new friends.

History
Early life
Cassius was born in a time of war. His mother was kidnapped by Sith forces, taken as a hostage. The Sith moved all their forces to a base on Vorzyd V. The Republic (And Seth, Cassius's father) were not far behind. The baby was born into Sith hands, and was sent to a training facility to be put in cryo-stasis to be shipped off to Dromund Kaas for intense training to become Sith Commandos. The mother was shot in the back of the head, along with the rest of the hostages. The Republic fleet reached the world, and as they were preparing the blockade, Seth Cosi and Hilderic Reuven flew down to the world to rescue the child. After short conflicts with the Sith, they grabbed the child and returned safely to the fleet, which began its attack. Seth and Hilderic boarded fighters and joined the fight. On the surface, made wartorn by many orbital bombardments and intense firefights in the streets, the Republic army made its way to the labs, and freed the rest of the children.
On Coruscant, a week later, Seth decided he could not handle this child anymore, and he would be exiled if he was found with Cassius. He, disguised as a civilian, brought the boy to an orphanage on the world of Corellia. He grew up here, and learned and grew in experience. Corellia during the war, did not receive too much battle scarring, and a few skirmishes were fought in space and on the fields between the two forces.

Cassius is the ancestor of Icad Cosi, a Jedi during the Galactic Civil War era.
