Appearance

Badar was known to have been handsome, an unusual trait for a Sith, he had dark brown hair of medium length, his hair spiraled into a fringe. His eyes were a hazel brown colour and they often turned a fluorescent yellow colour due to excessive use of the force. Badar had a strong build with well defined muscles due to the physical strain his former mysterious master made him undergo. He was 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing an average 174 pounds, Badar had a well maintained figure apart from a scar below his eye running across his cheek and a large scar running along his kneecap which undoubtedly came from extreme training induced by his former master.

This athelitic figure allowed Badar to proceed in various physical activities without any use of the force, a notable example of this is when he fought his way through several HK assassin droids as he lost his lightsaber.

History

Early Life 

Badar was born in a planet in the outer rim regions, as the war between the Jedi and the True Sith raged on, Badar's parents were killed and he was swiftly orphaned. As the armies of the Sith began to hammer the surface of the planet, Badar was found by a Sith Maruader, whom tried to kill him but Badar used the force inadvertedly to make the Maruader decapitate himself with his own lightsaber.

Escape

The Sith General who was responsible for the bombardment of the planet quickly took Badar under his wing and believed this was a test from the dark council and imprisoned the child. Badar being a child did not understand that he was to be excecuted and as the Sith General was about to draw upon the dark side of the force, the young child was freed by an unknown hooded stranger, who took the child and left the planet and headed towards the dusty and barren planet of Korriban.

Training

As the young Badar trained under this mysterious figure who never removed his cloak on the desert planet of Korriban as the Sith armies advanced towards the core regions of the galaxy. The young Badar was trained apart from the other acoyltes and was trained away from the comfortable academy, this enabled his master to push him hard and achieve his force potential. His master was also keen that Badar should read and understand the manuscripts which would enable him to futher his understanding of the force and the dark side of the force.

Badar's physical training consisted of sprinting fifteen kilometers every single day in the heat of the arid Korriban terrain, he was also taught the fine art of lighsaber use and Badar utilised the full use of the force while sparing against his ageing master whom was surprisingly tough and effective in his utilisation of the force.

Along with physical training, Badar was taught the finer aspects of the force, he was taught how to use the force to cloak himself and also how to fend himself, Badar had a vastly powerful Force Lightning, which was known to light up the dark desert of Korriban.

Discovery

As his power grew, rumour of his strength had reached the ears of the masters of the academy on Korriban and they sent several search parties out to find this young acolyte. The powerful masters of the Korriban Academy found Badar, whilst he was doing his regular runs, as they tried to detain him, Badar gave in peaceful realising that he was desperately outnumbered but also part of him wanted to visit the academy on Dreshdae as he felt his current master had told him all he knew about the force. Badar kindly dropped them a hint that his ageing master was lurking in a nearby cave, however when the cave was searched, no-one was found apart from a couple of old manuscripts lying carelessly on the floor.

Joining the Empire's Cause

Soon, the masters realized that Badar's strength was exceptional and well beyond the tiny flickers of the acolytes who were of the same age as him. So, Badar was sent out on several reconnaisance missions, which were all completed and knowledge of his strength reached the ears of the emperor, who assigned him to higher ranking missions and soon Badar was well renowned throughout the Empire.

The Dark Disciples

The last that was heard of Badar was that he had joined a successful and group of extremely powerful force users known as the dark disciples.

The Seige of Coruscant

Amongst the vast Sith Armies, Badar travelled with The Dark Disciples as an ellite commander, the Dark Disciples did not engage in any fighting themselves but he was commanding the vast multitutde of Sith Maruaders. Soon after victory, Badar set about desimating the Jedi Temple, as he scowered through the records he found of a tale regarding Darth Revan, he read the manuscript and decided to embark on his own adventure to retrace the steps of the Dark Lord called Revan in search of true power.

Into the Unknown

As Badar decided to retrace the steps of the Dark Lord, Badar was still young and set out with two companions in his private ship, the ship left Korriban and travelled towards the Unknown planet otherwise known as Lehon, this was the last recorded place of Revan's visit. The details about Badar's journeys are vague but what is assured is that he came among a group of stray Rakata, whom he slew as they could not provide him with any information about Revan.

Betrayal

Some years later, Badar returned back to the legion of Dark Disciples to notice many changes, the Dark Disciples were no longer a legion of elite sith, it had expanded so any sith would be welcome within the legions. Badar had learned of a coup that had been on-going whilst he was away, the leader of the Disciples had been removed by force and was left to die in the wilderness of Korriban, there was now a new hierachy, instead of a single leader there was a council who answered only to the Sith Emperor's council and the Sith Emperor himself. Badar maintained a high position within the Disciples, but the Disciples chose to place him a wavelength below the council, this came to Badar's annoyance considering he had gone into the unknown regions, he had faced many adversaries that would not even be mentioned in Sith manuscripts, for the advancement of the Disciples, yet they chose to keep him a step below the council. Badar began to grow out of favour amongst the council members and other members of the disciples, Badar presumed the reason for this was the fact that he had been favoured by the last leader of the Disciples who had taken Badar under his own wing. The disciples were a large force to be reckoned with and this only increased the instability within the ranks.

It was not long before the figureheads of the Disciples had ordered Badar to be killed secretly, assassins were sent to kill him in his sleeping chambers, but Badar had been predicting this move by the Disciples for weeks, and he kept his lightsaber close to him, when the assassins struck Badar was ready and wiped them out with a fine display of lightsaber mastery. Badar knew that he had killed some of the top assassins that had been sent out, he was no an enemy of the disciples and through the disciples he was an enemy of the true sith.

Badar had to escape from this planet, he had been betrayed by the Sith, he would have to find a way to get to the core planets were he could be safe from countless assassination attempts, but he would have to blend in to be truly protected by the Republic.

Encounter with Exal Kreshh

After leaving the Empire, Badar had to go in hiding the emperor himself had expressed urgency in the capture of Badar. Badar aboard an empire figher used his skill with the force to cloak his presence as he approached the world of Tatooine he sensed the dark side was strong in this world. For a couple of days Badar remained in the cantina, he meditated for days, using the force to help him visualize what the empire and the emperor in particular was planning, but this came to no avail the emperor was too strong in the force and any excessive attempts at trying to break into the emperors mind would alert the empire to where he was.

During his time at the cantina he sensed a presence, a powerful advisary drawing near, he had sensed nothing like this before it was raw anger and sheer power. Badar decided to leave the planet, he approached his stolen sith fighter, when a chill crawled down his spine. He felt the heat of a lightsaber approach his neck, and heard multiple voices echoing around him, whispering different things, Badar drew for his lightsaber and flipped behind his adversary, both of them uncloaked themselves. The cloacked figure had been a woman, she had red skin a pure sith... a true sith.

Standing on the landing pad facing each other, the red skinned woman told Badar that she used to be the apprentice of the emperor her name was: Exal Kressh, and he should prepare to die. Badar had enough of the talking, he launched himself up into the air with his lightsaber hissing through the air and made contact with Exal Kressh's lightsaber, Kressh was expecting the attack and attempted to do a spinning back kick, Badar rolled underneath the kick and used a powerful force wave to throw her back, Exal Kressh's eyes began to glow an orange colour and force lightning spurted from her right hand, this was deflected by Badar's lightsaber and he again jumped in the air attempting to slice through her, but Kressh waved the attack aside and using her lightsaber cut skimmed Badar's face, blood errupted from his face, the blood enraged Badar as he rose from the floor and a flurry of lightsaber attack was folllowed, and Exal Kressh was forced onto the back foot, as the sheer power forced her backwards, Badar inclined his hands towards his opponent and used force blast to send Exal Kressh flying across the landing pad, he launched himself into the sky and pointed his lightsaber towards Kressh and used the force to impale her but Kressh tried to trip Badar using a leg sweep, Badar did a back flip and changed to his preferred Vapaad stance. The two adversaries engaged once more, with Badar using rage to engage his opponent, Exal Kreshh had never faced such an opponent, all the challenges she had faced under the tutelage of the emperor had been relatively difficult but one with such force potential as herself had no problem brushing them aside. As the battle raged on Exal Kreshh's defenses grew weaker as Badar pressed on for the kill, but something happened that he did not expect. Three hooded figures appeared he recognized all three from their sheer presence, they were the three sith Lords from the Dark Disciples. He turned around expecting Kreshh to strike him but she stood alongside him and whispered that they should work together to survive.

Drawing on the dark side of the force Badar and Exal Kressh created a powerful statis field around the landing pad, and Badar boarded the sith fighter as Kressh boarded her own fighter as both of them headed in different directions, Badar continued towards the core planets as Kressh headed towards the Lencio system.

Personality

Badar was known to be ruthless, he believed in having the utmost discipline, he drew upon the dark side of the force via sheer anger, his anger was said to have unerved the most powerful dark lords.

It was noted that after learning from his master, Badar possessed wisdom well beyond his years. His knowledge about the force was expansive and he viewed the force more than just a mere tool and he understood its finer points.

Powers and Abilites

Lightsaber Skill

Badar was renowned to possess unmatchable lightsaber prowess and was known to toy with opponents until he reached Dun Moch, then he would desimate his opponents with a surge of the force which was supposed to be felt by others in the surrounding area. Badar employed acrobatics with his use of the lightsaber. Badar drew on his anger to fuel his lightsaber prowess, his anger allowed him to engage in his preferred combat style of Vapaad/Shien. His lightsaber skill was such that he could not only hold is own against a former apprentice of the emperor's: Exal Kressh, but forced her to succumb to his superior skill, only the arrival of three dark lords saved Exal Kressh from death.

During his time training with his master on the plains of Korriban, his master commented that his lightsaber skill reminded him of the skill of the dark lord: Tulak Hord.

Force Abilities

Badar was known to have a huge force potential, and he was known to have an extremely powerful force lightning and force wave, which he used in unison to create a force storm. Badar was able to employ the uncommon Force Flight technique. Badar also was believed to have mastered the core Force powers and in unison with his training from his mysterious master he was known to have been an extremely powerful force user.

Also using the manuscripts provided by his master and his travels to the unknown region in search of true power,he learned many skills which had been used so fervently by the Sith Lords of old, he learnt Sith Sorcery and Sith Alchemy from his master, and employed both several times to a high degree.

Another of Badar's techniques was battle meditation, during the seige of coruscant, this was used to raise the morale of the dark disciples and make the fleet appear greater in terms of number, as Naga Sadow had once done melennia ago.

Swoop Racer

Badar was known to have been an expert swoop racer and had resultantly won several swoop races.

Military Commander

Badar was known to be a brilliant strategist, this was especially expolited during his time with the Dark Disciples, as he led them to several victories on the battlefield, his strategies were likened to those of Revan, for example despite being a Sith, he still trusted his squadrons. The best victories Badar ever won were perhaps when he had only ten sith under his command and he managed to defeat an army of galactic troops nearing five-thousand, by using a variety of tactics predominantly being hiding amongst the galactic troops and then infiltrating them from the inside.
